Through a 50p levy on theatre ticket sales in Troubadour venues over £65,000 was raised in the first year of the charity. This has been used to deliver a number of projects in Brent and White City engaging a total of more than 3,000 people.
Our six-week programme for the National Theatre’s production of War Horse engaged over 2,000 children. We provided free workshops, a 5-day half-term project with Brent Youth Theatre, a Community Day and a Family Page- to-Stage. Two performances for schools were offered exclusively to State-school children in Brent for the cost of £5 per ticket and the children, their teachers and Michael Morpurgo, the author of War Horse, were there to see it all happen.

We would like to reinstate our programme in 2023 as and when theatres are able to fully operate again. To do that we need additional funds that are not raised by, or connected to the shows and we are seeking corporate sponsors or other charitable donors to work with across our programme of events.
